Blak & Bright

Blak & Bright is a First Nations-led literary organisation reshaping the Australian storytelling landscape by placing Blak voices at the centre of cultural life. Established in 2016 as a festival, the organisation has now grown into a national platform delivering year-round programming, industry leadership and community engagement.

At its core, Blak & Bright exists to elevate and amplify First Nations storytelling in all its forms. It creates spaces where storytellers and thinkers speak on their own terms without compromise, and where audiences encounter Blak literature as essential.
