Blue Light Victoria

Blue Light Victoria exists to inspire, engage, and equip young people aged 10 to 21 to reach their full potential. Our vision is for every young Victorian to feel safe, connected, and empowered to thrive. To create opportunities that help young people build resilience, meaningful relationships, and a positive path forward regardless of the challenges they face.

For nearly 50 years, we have delivered early intervention and prevention programs that keep young Victorians engaged with school, family, and community. We are the only youth organisation in Victoria whose programs embed police and emergency services as trusted partners. This unique collaboration breaks down barriers, fosters understanding, and connects young people with positive role models, enabling us to deliver programs that help young people navigate life’s challenges and build resilience.

Since our inception, we’ve reached over 950,000 young people across Victoria, with proven outcomes for participants such as stronger mental health, a more defined sense of belonging personally and in their communities. BLV is uniquely positioned to do this work because we bring together the strengths of police, emergency services, and community networks to reach young people before problems escalate.
