Bravery Trust is Australia’s national military charity focused on improving the financial wellbeing of current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members and their families experiencing financial hardship. Since 2012, Bravery Trust has provided practical support to thousands of veterans and family members facing financial stress caused by service-related injury, illness, transition challenges, unemployment, housing instability, unexpected life events and rising living costs.

Bravery Trust delivers a unique combination of emergency financial assistance, financial counselling and financial education. This integrated approach helps veterans and families address immediate challenges while building the skills, confidence and capability needed to achieve long-term financial stability. Support may include assistance with essential household expenses, housing costs, budgeting, debt management and financial planning.

Bravery Trust’s focus is on early intervention, helping people access support before financial pressure becomes a wider crisis affecting housing, employment, mental health and family wellbeing. Bravery Trust works alongside veterans and families to help them regain control of their finances, maintain stable accommodation, strengthen financial capability and build a more secure future.
