Since 1980, our Centre has provided a safe and friendly community place for seniors (aged over 55) to meet and participate in fun, interesting and engaging activities.
Members can participate in various weekly social and physical recreational activities, including indoor bowls, table tennis, gentle gym, yoga, yogalates, Zumba, boot scooting, gentle yoga, scrabble, bridge, euchre, canasta and Bingo. Many activities are coordinated by volunteers, supported by five staff (Manager, Receptionist, Cook and Kitchen Assistants)
The Centre is a registered not-for-profit incorporated Association, with a small membership fee that encourages members to meet new friends, keep fit, socialise and improve cognitive skills.
Based conveniently within the city centre, the Centre also offers lunches, open five days per week and provides a base for Meals on Wheels through Community Home Care. Additional services providers, such as hairdressing and beauty therapy use the small meeting areas and provide regular services.
