For nearly 80 years, CareWorks has walked alongside South Australians facing hardship, offering practical support, compassion, and hope when life becomes overwhelming.

Through partnerships with local faith communities and volunteers, CareWorks responds to people experiencing financial stress, social isolation, illness, and disadvantage — meeting urgent needs while helping rebuild stability and confidence for the future.

Every day, individuals and families turn to CareWorks at moments of crisis. Through our programs we provide:
– Emergency Relief, helping families keep food on the table, pay essential bills, and navigate difficult seasons
– Safe and affordable accommodation for rural patients and carers travelling to Adelaide for critical medical treatment, reducing stress during already challenging times
– Community meals and food programs that nourish both body and spirit, creating connection and reducing loneliness
– Youth programs in Playford, supporting vulnerable young people with safe spaces, mentoring, and positive pathways toward hope and belonging.
