Organisation Summary

Carnelian Foundation is focused on empowering children and young people affected by family violence and mental health. We know that 1 in 4 children are affected by family violence.

Our aim is to focus on supporting children in these situations by providing them access to positive activities that can allow them to build connection, resilience and hope. We are child focused, parent led and community driven. This means that our support is dedicated to the children in need, however the child and their parent/nominee choose which activity they wish to partner in.

These activities can include music or sport and are delivered by our program partners who are already deeply embedded in the community. Students and their family in our program will also have the opportunity to participate in online wellbeing and counselling services.
