CASS Care is a leading multicultural charity providing aged care, disability, childcare, settlement, health, employment, training, and community services across Sydney, Wollongong, and Melbourne. Their vision is to be the first choice for people of all ages from multicultural backgrounds by delivering high-quality, person-centred services and proactively supporting disadvantaged groups.
Many people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities face barriers such as social isolation, language difficulties, and limited access to essential services. CASS Care addresses these challenges through culturally responsive programs that promote inclusion, wellbeing, independence, and community participation.
With more than 45 years of community service, over 680 staff and 350 volunteers, CASS Care is uniquely placed to deliver trusted, culturally appropriate support that responds directly to community needs.
Their current priorities include reducing loneliness among older people, supporting healthy ageing, strengthening disability and settlement services, improving wellbeing outcomes, and increasing social inclusion for multicultural communities.
Funding will enable CASS Care to expand community programs, increase access to culturally appropriate support, strengthen volunteer engagement, and reduce barriers to service access for vulnerable individuals and families.
Each week, more than 8,500 families access CASS services and activities. Their impact has been recognised through numerous community and volunteer awards, including the NSW Not-for-Profit Business Excellence Medal for promoting diversity, inclusion, and community harmony.
