Biolinks Alliance is a regionally embedded partnership organisation, with a far-reaching network of environmental organisation, government, landholder and farmer, and First Nations partners – supporting the implementation of genuine place and evidence based ecological restoration solutions across public and private land in central Victoria.
Our mission is to support, coordinate and amplify community efforts to repair regional ecosystems at a landscape scale.
We deliver the following to our 18 community environment organisations that operate between the Grampians and Victorian Alps, the Macedon Ranges and the Murray River:
– Local to Landscape Program – Supporting communities to collaborate to develop and implement science-based plans for landscape-scale restoration of their local areas. A key feature of our Local to Landscape programs is the delivery of innovative and catalytic large landscape repair demonstration pilot projects.
– Knowledge and networking Program –Sharing of information about effective ecological restoration practice through Symposia, an online knowledge hub, speaker events and newsletters and field days.
– Advocacy – Communicating conservation solutions to the broader community and providing a united voice and strategic thinking on policy initiatives and regulatory processes for greater environmental stewardship supporting nature protection and repair.
