Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFAA) is a disability-led not-for-profit organisation whose core vision is to advocate for digital accessibility throughout Australia, ensuring equitable access to technology and the internet for people with disability. To create a more inclusive world, CFAA aims to reduce the accessibility gap so that people with disability can access online materials, and organisations know how to ensure their content is produced and delivered with accessibility in mind.

CFAA is best placed to provide support in the digital accessibility space as a majority of staff members have lived experience with disability alongside expert knowledge on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, the international standard to digital accessibility. As a registered charity, CFAA also runs donation drives for digital devices for people with disability in need which includes both brand-new and refurbished devices that have been donated to us.

Funding will support our organisation in keeping our free helpdesk service and online resources up-to-date and running, facilitate more research projects, increasing outreach to the community through workshops, and enable us to donate more devices to people with disability in need. Through our previous donation round, we were able to donate 80 laptops to people with disability nationally within Australia to continue their education and get into the workforce.
