At Children’s Cancer Institute, we believe a life should be long, that every child should get the chance to grow old and to plan exciting futures, chase their dreams, and live a life that is full of possibilities. Sadly, cancer cuts life short for hundreds of children every year, before they’ve even had a chance to make their mark.

For 40 years, Children’s Cancer Institute have been conducting research into the causes, prevention and cure of childhood cancer. When we opened our lab doors, around 50% of children would die from their cancer, compared to now, 85% of children will survive. But every week three children still die from their disease, and most survivors face long-term health issues as a result of their treatment. We won’t stop our research until every child can live a long, happy and healthy life.
