Liverpool Meals on Wheels is a longstanding not-for-profit organisation committed to delivering nutritious meals and supporting the independence of older adults, people with disabilities, and their carers. Established in 1964, we have been a vital part of the Liverpool community, ensuring that vulnerable residents receive freshly cooked meals each day (prepared onsite at our premises), alongside meaningful social interaction.
Our dedicated volunteers play a key role in promoting health and wellbeing, providing friendly check-ins and a daily connection that can often be the highlight of a client’s day. By supporting people to remain living independently in their own homes, where they feel safest and happiest, we help foster dignity, connection, and community.
