Climateworks Centre is an independent not‑for‑profit within Monash University, established by philanthropy to accelerate ambitious, evidence‑based climate action at the scale required to secure a safe, healthy and prosperous future.

We work with decision-makers across government, finance and industry to support emissions reduction at scale. Our team operates across Australia and Southeast Asia, providing analysis, convening stakeholders, and advising on policy, investment and implementation.

We believe lasting change happens when credible solutions are proven, adopted and embedded into the systems that shape everyday life. Climate ambition alone is not enough. For the transition to net zero to endure, it must be institutionalised – reflected in the rules, incentives and capabilities that guide how governments, markets and industries operate, and experienced as tangible benefits for communities.
