New Farm Neighbourhood Centre is a local, community-driven organisation focused on helping people feel connected, supported, and able to get through tough times. We work alongside individuals and families across our neighbourhoods, offering practical support while creating spaces where people feel welcome and heard.

At the heart of our work is a strong commitment to client-centred practice. We take the time to listen and understand each person’s situation, recognising that no two experiences are the same. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, we respond in ways that reflect people’s immediate needs, strengths, and goals.

With the ongoing cost of living pressures, many in our community are facing difficult choices. Our food parcel program provides reliable access to groceries for individuals and families doing it tough, helping to ease food insecurity in a practical and respectful way. We also offer support with essential bill payments, helping people stay on top of utilities and reduce financial stress before it escalates.

Alongside this, our community spaces, programs, and activities give people opportunities to connect, share, and build a sense of belonging. We work closely with local partners and volunteers to ensure support is responsive and grounded in the community itself.
