commUnity+ supports people and families to live safe, fulfilling and prosperous lives by assisting them to overcome hardship, disadvantage and marginalisation. We empower and support people by unlocking pathways to connection, learning, work and justice.

Melbourne’s Greater West and North are now some of the fastest growing areas in Victoria. Government funding for our core programs and services is crucial; however, it falls short of what is needed to respond to the diversity and complexity of unmet community need.

Our focus areas are:
– Education: to provide community members with the skills and training they need to achieve their goals, whether that’s learning English or developing technical skills for employability.
– Legal: to resolve legal issues through the delivery of client-centred, holistic, collaborative, high quality and specialised legal advice and assistance
– Neighbourhood: to facilitate community building and strengthening through programs to improve health and wellbeing, social inclusion, and community engagement.
– Family: to support the needs of families through supervised visits, facilitated for children and their separated parents, and other family services.
