Compassion 4 Community

Compassion 4 Community (C4C) is a registered not-for-profit organisation based in Nundah, Brisbane, dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing hardship, with a focus on those facing homelessness, food insecurity, and social isolation. Established in 2020, C4C was born out of a grassroots desire to bring hope and dignity to some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

Each week, our dedicated team of volunteers prepares and distributes over 400 nutritious meals across Brisbane’s northside, alongside essential goods such as groceries, clothing, hygiene items, and bedding. We operate with a heart for service, guided by our values of compassion, community, and care. Our outreach extends beyond basic needs—C4C fosters genuine social connection and provides a safe, welcoming space for those who may otherwise be unseen or unsupported.

In addition to our core food relief work, we are developing the SEED Program (Sustaining Eating, Education, and Development), a practical nutrition education initiative tailored for vulnerable families. This program equips participants with life skills in meal planning, budgeting, and sustainable eating practices, empowering them to make healthier choices in the face of adversity.

C4C is 100% community-led and volunteer-driven, built on partnerships, local engagement, and a shared mission to uplift the disadvantaged. We are committed to being a consistent and compassionate presence for those doing it tough, helping to reduce barriers, restore dignity, and nourish lives—physically, emotionally, and socially.
