Compassion Vietnam Inc. (CVI) is an Australian-registered charity established in 2009 with a mission to provide life-changing education and access to affordable healthcare for children living in extreme poverty in Vietnam. For over fifteen years, CVI has built a sustained, trusted presence in Ho Chi Minh City, working directly with some of the city’s most disadvantaged and underserved communities to break the cycle of poverty.
CVI is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors based in Melbourne, Australia, and operates under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Governance Standards and External Conduct Standards. All funds raised in Australia are directed to programs delivered in Vietnam, with full financial accountability maintained to Australian audit standards.
