At Conscious Combat Club, we’re striving toward a world free from gender-based violence. Our mission is to provide access, safety, and support to victim-survivors of gendered violence through trauma-informed martial arts. At CCC, we create a safer space for women living with trauma to reclaim their body confidence and strength.
Our approach is rooted in inclusion and connection. Inclusion comes in many forms; we work intersectionally, promoting accessibility and championing consent. We believe that choice and flexibility in recovery are crucial to achieving the best outcomes. Everything we do is done together. All are welcome, and recovery is delivered through community, just as much as it is through kickboxing.
Many victim-survivors are drawn to martial arts as a pathway to rewriting their story. However, the barriers they experience in typical martial arts gyms prevent them from ever starting. To change this, we facilitate trauma-informed martial arts classes online and in our dedicated studio in Melbourne.
