Destiny Haven is a residential program for women overcoming life controlling challenges such as addiction, eating disorders and self harm. Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley, we’re a not for profit, non government funded organisation, committed to walking alongside women as they reclaim their lives. Our vision is to see broken lives restored to their full potential.
Through a structured life skills program, our dedicated team provides professional, physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual care. Our social enterprise branches help to fund our program and keep our doors open. With all staff working on a full time volunteer basis. Our program centres on two clear outcomes: emotional and psychological wellness and practical life skills for independence. As women progress, they take on more responsibility and grow in confidence. Many graduate feeling equipped to step into work, study or further training with a clear sense of what they can bring to the world. As women rebuild their inner world, we also help them prepare for what’s next. Through our social enterprises, women gain hands on experience, real world skills and a renewed sense of purpose. Recovery doesn’t end with emotional healing. Women need the tools and confidence to build a sustainable life beyond Destiny Haven.
