Down Syndrome NSW is dedicated to empowering individuals with Down syndrome to live full, inclusive lives by providing support, advocacy, and resources. Our mission is to create a world where people with Down syndrome are valued, respected, and given equal opportunities to thrive.

We address the challenges faced by individuals with Down syndrome and their families, including access to inclusive education, meaningful employment, and community participation. With over 40 years of experience, we are a trusted voice and leading provider of tailored programs and services across NSW.

Our current priorities include:
– Inclusive Education: Supporting educators and families to create positive learning environments.
– Employment Connections: Helping individuals with Down syndrome secure meaningful jobs and assisting employers in fostering inclusive workplaces.
– Early Childhood Support: Providing guidance to families from prenatal diagnosis through early development.
– Community Engagement: Running events, peer support programs, and awareness campaigns to promote inclusion.

Funding will allow us to expand these initiatives, develop new programs, and reach more individuals and families in need. Our impact is demonstrated through improved education outcomes, increased employment opportunities, and stronger community inclusion for people with Down syndrome.
