Dreams2Live4 is Australia’s only national charity that realises dreams for adults aged 17+ living with terminal cancer. Our mission is to empower patients to reclaim joy, find hope, and reconnect with the people and their passions that matter most. We address the emotional and psychological burden of living with a terminal illness, something that not only ravages the body but leaves patients and families under significant mental and financial burden.
Dreams2Live4 is a core contributor in the holistic care of terminal cancer patients. Our service is patient-led and range from practical items that bring comfort to the everyday (air conditioners, wheelchairs etc.) to deeply personal moments, like reuniting loved ones or making memories with family, or even a achieving a creative milestone, like learning to sing. Dreams aren’t extravagant, they are heartfelt and human.
We support patients from all walks of life, including those facing socio-economic disadvantage, with 42% coming from most disadvantaged areas of Australia, and 8% identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.
