Endeavour Foundation

Endeavour Foundation is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Australians with intellectual disability, so they feel included, empowered and lead full and purposeful lives. Established in 1951 by parents advocating for educational opportunities for their children, we have evolved to support over 4,000 individuals at more than 230 sites in 15 regions nationwide. We work in partnership to deliver tailored services, enabling individuals to exercise choice and control in meeting their personal needs, goals, and interests.

Our mission is to create opportunities and turn possibilities into reality by providing comprehensive disability support services, including education, employment, accommodation, community access and advocacy. Through our efforts we strive to remove barriers, champion inclusivity, and empower individuals to live, learn, work and thrive in the community.

Our impact:
– Over 1,780 people are supported in employment
– Over 890 people participate in learning and life skills programs
– Over 510 people receive accommodation services
– Over 680 people benefit from community access and in-home support

While the NDIS has been a vital step in empowering people with disability to access essential services and exercise choice and control, gaps in care and support persist. Endeavour Foundation often faces funding shortfalls, leaving various services for those we support unfunded. Fundraising and philanthropy enable us to bridge this gap, enhancing our services and facilities to meet the evolving needs of Australians with intellectual disability. This person-centred approach ensures we deliver quality services in safe and supportive environments while staying responsive to the community we serve.
