Enterprise Partnerships WA (EPWA) is a First Nations led social enterprise which works in partnership with First Nations women in the Kimberley to build community-led enterprises that drive economic empowerment, wellbeing, and self-determination.
We focus on entrepreneurship in remote communities where access to culturally appropriate business support, networks, and capital is limited. Through a place-based, community-led approach, we co-design initiatives with women to develop enterprises grounded in culture, local knowledge, and community priorities which promote wellbeing.
EPWA supports participants through activating leadership, mentoring, capability development, and enterprise facilitation, while connecting women to partnerships, resources and funding opportunities. Our work strengthens local ecosystems so businesses can start, grow, and sustain over time.
For First Nations women, enterprise is more than economic, it is a pathway to leadership, cultural continuity, and community wellbeing. By investing in women-led entrepreneurship, EPWA contributes to stronger, more inclusive and resilient communities.
