For over 72 years, Epilepsy Action Australia has been supporting people living with epilepsy across the nation. This support is provided via the National Epilepsy Line telehealth service, specialist epilepsy nursing, education and training programs, research partnerships, online resources, and community engagement initiatives that drive positive change through evidence-based interventions.

Epilepsy Action Australia is the leading national provider of specialist epilepsy services. We do this by delivering expert nursing support, building epilepsy-informed communities, raising awareness to combat stigma, and providing integrated services that enhance self-management capabilities and improve access to epilepsy information and support. We measure impact through contact numbers (10,000+ annually through our National Epilepsy Line), training participants (9,360+ people), website engagement (275,000+ visits), and demonstrated improvements in quality-of-life outcomes.

Each epilepsy journey is unique, and we remain committed to supporting individuals at every stage, ensuring our services adapt to their evolving needs from childhood through to adulthood, including specialised programs for youth transition, women’s health, and family support.
