Friends of the Pound (Tweed) Inc. (“FoP”) is a community based not for profit organization whose aim is to re-home the homeless dogs and cats on the southern Gold Coast and Tweed Shire. We do not receive any government funding but rely solely on donations from the public and the fundraising efforts of our volunteers.
We also promote the importance of responsible pet ownership and slowly but surely hope to lessen the increasing number of homeless animals, particularly through encouraging desexing.
