Generation Australia is a non-profit organisation with the mission of preparing, placing and supporting people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible to them.
We design and run training & pre-employment programs to equip people with the skills, knowledge, tools and confidence to launch careers in in-demand industries.
Our programs include:
- Technical and soft skills training
- Mentorship
- Wellbeing support
- Employment readiness training
- and other wraparound services and job placement support
With these tools, our aim to set participants up for long-term success.
We primarily work with individuals who are unemployed, under-employed or at demonstrable risk of unemployment, including women, youth, people with disabilities, First Nations people, parents returning to work, CALD communities and more.
All programs are built in close collaboration with employers, to ensure they are responsive to the needs of today’s job market and provide employers with a pipeline of high quality, motivated and diverse talent. Since our inception in 2019, we have trained over 2100 jobseekers from underserved communities in our pre-employment programs, with over 400 organisations across Australia having hired our program graduates.
