Give Write is a Western Australian charity that collects and repurposes new and gently used school supplies for students who arrive at school without the essential tools for learning. Its mission is to promote equality in the classroom, ensuring that every child can confidently engage in their education.
Through its year-round Student Supplies Store, Give Write redistributes donated stationery to school staff at no cost, allowing educators to support disadvantaged students with the materials they need. These efforts break down barriers to learning, foster dignity, and empower the one in six WA children living below the poverty line.
As one of only two Australian organisations repurposing stationery at scale, Give Write also addresses a pressing environmental issue. With most school supplies difficult to recycle and often destined for landfill, the charity diverted 50 cubic metres of materials from waste last year alone.
