GOGO Foundation

At GOGO Foundation our mission is to support society's most vulnerable women with the skills, tools and community they need to overcome barriers in order to secure safe and sustainable employment. We achieve this through our flagship initiative, the Inclusive Work Program (IWP).

IWP is a pre-employment program that breaks the cycle of disadvantage for women and non-binary people with complex barriers to entering or re-entering the workforce. We create pathways to safer lives, sustainable employment and financial independence by teaching wellbeing, building confidence and modern work skills, reducing social isolation and supporting women into safe, suitable and sustainable employment. Since 2021, GOGO Foundation has supported more than 90 people facing multiple barriers to work, including 80% survivors of domestic violence, 80% long-term unemployed, 80% managing mental health challenges. Of our graduates, 85% report increased confidence in job-seeking, 80% increased belief in their work abilities & 60% are employed or studying within 6 months post-graduation.

IWP supports the Prevention, and the Recovery & Healing from Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence, the pillars of the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022–2032. We improve the safety of women and their children and our proven transition to work methodology supports the long-term wellbeing of participants and their families, and builds more resilient and safer communities.

Our current priorities are continued delivery of best practice trauma informed support, development of employer partnerships and sustainability of the organisation beyond government grant funding.
