Goodness Enterprises Limited

Goodness Enterprises Limited is a Queensland-based not-for-profit social enterprise that empowers people for life—socially, economically, environmentally and spiritually. They address food insecurity, unemployment and social disadvantage through community-led programs that create lasting impact across the Ipswich and West Moreton regions.

Goodness Enterprises rescues quality surplus food that would otherwise go to landfill and redistributes it through their Community Food Co-op and partner organisations, providing affordable and free food to individuals and families experiencing hardship. In addition to their food security initiatives, Goodness Enterprises are committed to environmental sustainability by reducing food waste and supporting community conservation projects.

They also deliver volunteer opportunities, employment pathways and accredited training that help people develop skills, confidence and independence.

They are currently expanding their services through the development of the Give Goodness Centre, a purpose-built community hub that will increase capacity to rescue, store and distribute food while providing training, volunteering and community support services.
