Organisation Summary

Griefline provides free national grief support through a telephone helpline, digital resources and online community forums. These supports benefit everyone in understanding their experience of grief and especially assist those needing help to manage the distress of grief and support to develop healthy coping strategies.

Left unsupported, grief can increase mental health challenges, impair a person’s ability to function and cause significant distress for months, even years, after the loss. That’s why Griefline provides free, accessible support across various channels so Australia’s stories of loss and pain can be normalised and no longer escalate into mental health challenges.

We’re aiming to be supporting 250,000 grieving Australians by 2028, doubling our reach and connecting more Australians to free, compassionate grief support so no one feels alone in their grief.
