Heart Research Australia aims to reduce the devastating impact heart disease has on families and the community. Despite significant advancements, heart disease is still a leading cause of death for Australians.
We support world class and emerging researchers to conduct ground-breaking research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. Heart Research Australia focuses on funding early-stage projects, empowering researchers to transform innovative concepts into life-saving realities. These early-stage projects often don’t qualify for government grants. The generosity of our donors makes it possible for crucial research projects to take place.
Through our work we have contributed to worldwide standards in cardiac care; to cutting-edge and out-of-the-box thinking in the management of heart disease. We fund the best research projects selected by our Research Grant Advisory Committee. These project all have our vision in mind, to make breakthroughs in heart disease happen and improve heart health outcomes for future generations.
