I.T. Lady Connect

I.T. Lady Connect is a women-led charity dedicated to closing the digital divide by empowering underserved communities—particularly older adults, women, and marginalised groups – through technology education, mentorship, and access.

Our mission is to create confident, connected communities by equipping people with the digital skills they need to thrive in a tech-driven world. We envision an inclusive Australia where everyone can participate fully in society, regardless of age, ability, or background.

We address a growing issue: over 25% of Australians experience digital exclusion. For older adults, people living with disability, or those in insecure housing, this can mean isolation, difficulty accessing services, and a lack of independence. Through programs like Digital Mentors, we train school students to mentor seniors; we also deliver hands-on workshops and device lending programs for hospitals and low-income groups.

Our team brings lived experience, deep sector knowledge, and trusted community partnerships—making us uniquely placed to deliver impactful, person-centred digital inclusion initiatives.

We are currently prioritising the expansion of our intergenerational mentoring and hospital tech access programs. Funding will allow us to train more volunteer mentors, deliver devices to people in need, and strengthen community partnerships to reach isolated populations.

To date, over 300 individuals have directly benefited from our training and mentoring, and we’re only getting started. Your support can help us bridge the digital divide, one empowered learner at a time.
