Mount Gambier’s In Home Hospice Care Inc (IHHCare) provides personalised palliative care that upholds dignity, independence, and quality of life for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, neurological, kidney, heart, liver, or lung diseases.

Our services are designed to combat isolation and offer comprehensive support to both patients and their caregivers, many of whom face their own health challenges. We help those in our care live as independently and comfortably as possible.

IHHCare’s objectives are clear: to combat isolation through daily living support, transportation, social engagement, and companionship, reducing feelings of loneliness and enhancing mental well-being. We offer respite care, advance care planning, and grief counselling to ease the physical, emotional, and financial burdens on families and carers. Our goal is to maintain independence and dignity through practical assistance with everyday tasks, improving comfort and quality of life.

Our free community services include shopping and transport assistance, social engagement, respite care to give family carers essential breaks, advance care planning to prepare for future healthcare decisions, and grief counselling for support through loss.
