Juno is a support and advocacy organisation working across Melbourne’s north. We partner with women, trans, and gender-diverse people and their children who are experiencing homelessness, housing stress, family violence, and financial hardship.

Proudly an intersectional feminist organisation, we amplify lived experience voices and advocate for structural change to address gender inequity and the barriers faced by the communities we support.

Formerly known as WISHIN, we have a long history of working alongside women and families, helping them secure safe accommodation, access essential resources, and rebuild their lives. Our holistic, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach supports people to find stable housing, recover from trauma, achieve financial independence, and reconnect with their communities.

Our skilled team works with a diverse range of people, including those impacted by experiences of financial disadvantage, trauma, mental health, substance use or contact with the criminal system.

Beyond direct support, we advocate for systemic change, raising awareness of the unique challenges our communities face and working to dismantle the structures that drive gendered poverty, homelessness, and family violence.

With additional funding, we can expand our support services, strengthen advocacy efforts, create more pathways to long-term stability for those at risk of or experiencing homelessness and supporting people to build lives free from violence.
