KIDS Foundation

The KIDS Foundations’ mission is to keep children safe and create a better life for those living with life-changing injury and trauma.

Our recovery programs support children who have been differently abled following life-changing injury and trauma from burns, accidents, dog attacks, crime, abuse, illness and environmental events. We do this through camps, workshops, community based activities and the National Burns Survivors’ network.

We run Camp TANGO across various states each year. Camp TANGO (Together Achieving New Goals and Opportunities) supports children, teens and young adults who have experience life-changing injury and/or trauma. Individuals attending camp are paired with a trained adult volunteer / mentor and the program is designed to assists these young people discover their talents, achieve their goals and experience new opportunities.
Camps include recreational activities, leadership and educational opportunities in a fun environment. Providing social connection and crucial support to assist participants in developing their self-esteem, overall well-being and confidence.

Our injury prevention programs aim to educate and empower children to build a strong sense of identity and wellbeing so they can keep themselves and others safe whilst still being kids. Educating children in kindergartens and preschools through the Seemore Safety program is our focus. Through the Seemore Safety program children are empowered to take agency in their learning, to gain understanding of their physical and emotional capabilities so they can be happy, healthy and keep themselves safe.
