Kingdom Makers Food Outlet

Our not-for-profit Food Outlet provides low-cost and free fruit and vegetables to the local and wider community, with produce changing weekly based on availability and need.

More than just a shop, the Food Outlet is a place of connection, care, and hope for many people in our community.

Having recently moved into a larger warehouse, we are now able to store and distribute greater quantities of free fruit, vegetables, and essential groceries supplied through our partners at Foodbank Australia and SecondBite. This expansion allows us to support more families and individuals experiencing food insecurity.

To help us fully utilise this new space and operate safely and efficiently, we are seeking support for several key improvements. Currently the warehouse only has a concrete floor, so suitable flooring would greatly improve safety and accessibility. We also require additional refrigeration and freezer storage to safely hold fresh food, a larger checkout area with a till system to manage the growing number of visitors, and security measures such as cameras and an alarm system to protect the building and supplies.

With these improvements, we will be better equipped to serve our community, reduce food waste, and ensure more people have access to fresh and nutritious food in a welcoming and supportive environment.
