Kurranulla strives to develop closer ties between First Nations and other groups and to promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Kurranulla offers the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) for First Nations people over 50 with the aim to support independence and reduce social isolation. Kurranulla also offer Youth Mentoring for First Nations students in high schools, and Early Intervention programs to support young people and their families. We offer group and individual mentoring for our young people, and a weekly kids group bringing together our youth to learn and be immersed in our cultures in a safe and fun environment. We currently engage with over 200 people in our programs on a weekly basis, with activities designed to strengthen cultural identity and resilience while building social, emotional, and cultural wellbeing.
