At the Landscape Foundation of Australia, our vision is “people and nature thriving together”.
Our aim is to protect, restore, enhance & sustainably manage natural environments that occur in and around the urban landscapes of Australian cities & towns.
We do this by:
- Funding research and education to build capacity and skills, including an annual fellowship program for emerging professionals.
- Building capacity of communities and other organisations to achieve local impact – this includes supporting on-the-ground programs to improve urban biodiversity.
- Policy and advocacy for the value of nature.
The Directors of the Foundation are eminent professionals who bring their combined experience in professional practice, business management, academia and not-for-profit governance.
