LEAD Connect is a charity dedicated to advancing education, social welfare, and poverty relief in Western Sydney. LEAD Connect operates as a social enterprise resource-sharing hub, offering on-the-job training supervised by industry experts.
Leveraging the qualifications, experience, skills, and potential of disadvantaged women who have been out of the workforce due to family obligations or settlement adjustments, the iShine Resource Hub provides a platform for skill enhancement and confidence-building to re-enter or enter the workforce for the first time.
Our mission focuses on:
- Developing the skills of disadvantaged youth, refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants to alleviate poverty and enable community participation.
- Building the capacity of small service providers, volunteers, and community groups.
- Advancing education among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, youth, asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants.
- Advocating for vulnerable communities through strategic leadership and innovative professional development.
