At Little Dreamers, we’re working towards an equal world for Young Carers (aged 4 to 25). With an estimated 1 in 10 children in Australia giving up their childhood to provide unpaid care to a family member, Little Dreamers delivers fun, empowering and proactive support programs to reduce the risk factors that they face and increase life opportunities.
We offer a wide range of support, including school holiday programs, overnight respite camps, peer support, mentoring, tutoring, dream experiences (where Young Carers live out their dream for a day), and our brand-new Young Carer Wellbeing Hub, which provides psychology services, art and play therapies, and cognitive assessments.
At the heart of our work is the belief that Young Carers should be recognised, supported, and given every chance to reach their full potential.
