Lort Smith is the largest not for profit animal hospital in Australia operating across two sites. Since 1936 we have provided quality, accessible and compassionate vet care to hundreds of thousands of pets in need and extended that care to the people who love them.
Alongside our animal hospitals providing services to people doing it tough, and our adoption centre, we deliver essential programs that protect and celebrate the power of the human-animal bond. Providing temporary foster care for pets while their people navigate crisis and hardship across mental health, family violence and emergency hospitalisation. And bringing comfort and healing into healthcare facilities, schools and youth justice services through our extensive pet therapy program.
