Make-A-Wish Australia exists to create life-changing wishes for children living with critical illnesses. We’ve made unicorns fly, sent kids to the moon and brought dinosaurs back from extinction. For everyone involved the impact of a wish has an immediate uplifting and positive effect, empowering children with hope and joy when they need it most.
A wish come true is more than just a fleeting moment of happiness. Wishes help to build special connections, create life-long, positive memories, and provide something wonderful to look forward to during tough times. They are even designed to complement a child’s medical treatment, working to calm, distract, and inspire at a time they need it most.
Supported by an amazing network of volunteers across Australia, Make-A-Wish works in partnership with sick children, their families and medical teams to design and deliver wishes that are as unique as the children who imagine them.
