Maronites on Mission

Maronites on Mission Australia is a registered not‑for‑profit charity supporting vulnerable and socially isolated individuals across Sydney and overseas. Guided by Christian values, our mission is to provide practical assistance while promoting dignity, compassion, and genuine human connection.

Since 2013, MOM has addressed homelessness, food insecurity, and social isolation through grassroots, volunteer-led programs. We operate five weekly food van services across Sydney, providing meals to over 400 people experiencing hardship each week. Our monthly home visits program supports more than 90 families with essential food and household items, while also offering companionship and care. We also visit nursing homes to reduce isolation among the elderly and undertake international mission work in Lebanon and the Philippines, supporting communities facing significant economic hardship.

Our current priorities include expanding our local service capacity, increasing support to families in need, and replacing critical infrastructure such as an ageing food van. Funding will directly support the delivery and growth of these programs, enabling us to respond to increasing demand and reach more individuals in need. Our impact is demonstrated through sustained program growth, strong volunteer engagement, and the consistent number of individuals and families supported each week, reflecting both community need and trust in our services.
