Nature Education Centre provides a range of educational services to pre-schools and schools, across all education sectors in South Australia, in the metropolitan area and nearby regional locations.
Our aim is to educate students about the natural world and environmental issues through the short- term loan of live animals to be used by educational practitioners in their education setting.
We also loan preserved specimens and educational kits that contain a variety of resources to enhance hands-on learning activities and visit educational sites with other animals and resources for group presentations.
We reach thousands of students each year and provide work experience opportunities for school and tertiary students. Our members pay a yearly fee and a fee for borrowing resources.
