New Beginnings International’s vision is to create positive change in the lives of our most vulnerable children and young people.

Over the past 25 years, our charitable organisation has been responsible for the development and implementation of world-leading Prevention and Early Intervention Programs for disadvantaged and at-risk children and young people. The programs are designed to deter anti-social behaviour and build resilience as well as a healthy sense of community in referred participants.

Over 45,000 vulnerable children and young people in Queensland have derived positive benefits from their participation in our ‘Way of Community’ ™ programs and camps at the time of writing. Our work has been recognised for innovation both nationally – 2017 Telstra Business Awards (Charities Category), and internationally (Investments in Youth prevention Conference Sweden 2010). From 2013 onwards, we have also been providing Educational Aid internationally to remote schools in Ghana, Africa as well as selected American Indigenous communities.

The Eco part of our Youth Programs was further enhanced in 2020 with the development of an entirely new 3-level Environment – Youth Marine Conservation Program that has received high praise from all involved (students, parents, teachers and school principals). In conjunction with this, we are also providing internship & practical learning opportunities for University students. As our organisation addresses youth problems at an earlier age than most, we are in the best position to achieve positive outcomes. We rely largely on Funding via donations and one-off grants to support our programs.
