The NORTH Foundation is the fundraising partner of the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), raising vital funds that fuel exceptional patient care, groundbreaking research and innovation across the district and beyond. By collaborating with clinicians and donors, we are bridging the gap between what is needed today and what is possible tomorrow.

The NSLHD includes a network of hospitals and services such as Royal North Shore Hospital, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, Ryde Hospital, Mona Vale Hospital, Macquarie Hospital and the Kolling Institute. This extensive range of facilities ensures life-saving discoveries and broad, integrated care across the district.

The NSLHD strives to improve patient outcomes and set new standards in healthcare, whether through advancing neonatal care, enhancing disability rehabilitation or driving breakthroughs in mental health and non-communicable diseases. The NSLHD stands at the forefront of healthcare innovation, seamlessly integrating clinical trials into routine care to provide access to the latest treatments and advancements.

The Kolling Institute brings together a skilled team dedicated to diagnosing, preventing and treating diseases to enhance community care and wellbeing across all ages. With a strong track record and globally recognised expertise, researchers tackle major health challenges, including heart and kidney disease, musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pain and neurodegenerative disorders. Located next to the Royal North Shore Hospital, and working in collaboration with the Northern Sydney Local Health District, the Kolling Institute integrates scientific breakthroughs into clinical practice. As NSW’s longest-running research organisation, the Kolling Institute remains at the forefront of research, poised to drive significant healthcare advancements for the next century.
