Organisation Summary

One Red Tree Resource Centre Inc (ORTRC) grew out of an identified need for providing mental health support in rural and regional communities. ORTRC is a not-for-profit registered charity, providing a high- quality mental health service and psychologist training facility servicing the Grampians, Wimmera and Pyrenees regions. The chair of our board is Ararat Rural City Council (ARCC) deputy mayor, Jo Armstrong.

ORTRC provides three main services: School Outreach Program, ORTRC Clinic based in Ararat, and our Aged Care Psychology program. We also provide an Employee Assistance Program for East Grampians Health Service (EGHS) and supervision for the Palliative Care/Social work Teams. All programs are mostly staffed by psychologists who began with us when they were on university placement in Ararat.
