Pledge for the Planet is an Australian environmental charity igniting community spirit to power collective climate action. Our vision is a world where people unite through sport, community, and everyday action to protect the places we play.
We tackle one of the biggest challenges of our time, translating climate concern into action. Many people want to help the planet but don’t know where to start. We make it easy and motivating by turning action into a shared experience. Through our digital platform and national challenges, people and workplaces commit to measurable environmental pledges, from switching to renewable energy to reducing waste, and can see their individual impact contribute to a collective goal.
Current priorities include scaling our flagship 48 Hour Mission, using sport as a catalyst to engage clubs and community groups in climate action, expanding Corporate Missions that connect wellbeing and sustainability in workplaces, and growing our partnerships to reach new communities.
