Organisation Summary

Projex J is a movement born from profound loss, resilience and an unwavering commitment to support those in grief. Founded by Chantelle Ross after the heartbreaking loss of her son, Jamerson, killed in a hit and run incident.
Our mission is to ensure that no one grieves alone. Through community driven support, we create safe spaces where individuals find connection, understanding and healing.
Our vision is to build an enduring support network that transforms grief into growth and remembrance into resilience. Not just offering support but helping people rediscover joy and purpose even in the face of loss.

Funding will support sustainability to provide our services in our existing focus areas being:

  • Monthly Grief Support Groups.
  • Monthly Bereaved Parents Group.
  • Quarterly Grief Gatherings, One-on-one Grief Support.
  • and recent inclusion of Sibling Grief Support Groups.

All in recognition of the lack of support in the circumstance of losing a loved one, borne by personal experience of our founding member, Chantelle Ross.
In our initial two years we have reached out and supported over 300 individuals, with numbers growing and expanding with the inclusion of our Sibling Grief Group.
