Psychology for a Safe Climate (PSC) heads the intersection of climate change and mental health in Australia. We foster emotional and relational skills to support climate justice and transformation in the ongoing climate and ecological crisis.
Our programs build capacity for impacted communities and for those working and volunteering within the climate movement and mental health sector. Through expert facilitation, listening spaces, resources, and training, we empower individuals, communities, and organisations to face the emotional and psychological challenges of the global crisis.
At PSC, we take a systems-based approach, promoting and strengthening mental health and wellbeing across environmental, sustainability, conservation fields. By fostering deep engagement, connection, and psychological insight, PSC ensures people can process climate distress, avoid burnout, and contribute to lasting, just, and transformative change—for themselves and for their communities.
