Our mission is to be a compassionate connector, delivering care and empathy with every one of the nearly 3 million meals we provide annually. We ensure our 23,755 recipients and their families feel safe, supported, and part of the wider community. We envision a future where our statewide network enables every community member to remain independent, healthy, and connected.

Overview
As the peak body supporting 100 Members, Meals on Wheels Queensland offers an essential lifeline in 142 locations across the state. Our “More than just a meal” philosophy addresses social isolation and food insecurity for over 23,000 older and vulnerable Queenslanders. Every delivery, powered by our 6,300 dedicated volunteers, serves as a vital welfare check and a moment of human connection, providing the social infrastructure necessary for clients to maintain their independence throughout Queensland.

Future Priorities and Investment
As we look to the future, our priorities include supporting our 100 Members to navigate the complexities of the aged care sector and exploring innovative ways to address social isolation. We are dedicated to growing the 6,300-strong volunteer base that is intrinsic to our identity and impact. Funding serves as a direct investment in the 23,755 local lives we touch, providing the resources needed to innovate our care and ensure our neighbours can remain happy, safe, and connected in the places they call home.
